DUSTKOPBaghouse Dust Collectors

Baghouse Filters: For Very Fine Dust

DUSTKOP equipment also includes baghouse filters, also known as after-filters, which can be used with a blower or exhauster when only fine particulate is collected, or as the second stage of a collection system after a cyclone has removed coarse materials. After-filters allow for the removal of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Baghouse collectors have an efficiency in excess of 99%, and often as high as 99.9% of particle mass flowing into the collector.

Baghouses and filter collectors provide highly efficient, economical dust collection solutions for a large number of common dust creating industrial processes. Where required, HEPA filters can be included for enhanced filtration efficiency.

Baghouse Filters

Shaker-type baghouse collectors do not require frequent changes of filters such as cartridge designs and therefore have lower ongoing operating costs. AGET after-filters also operate without the need for compressed air, lowering installation costs of new units. In fact, AGET warrants its filters for three years and replaces filters free if they do not perform to specification*.

Cleaned air can be routed from the baghouse collector to the atmosphere or back indoors, where allowed by law.

AGET manufactures two lines of baghouse collectors, comprising many different sizes of fabric filtering area.

AGET DUSTKOP After-Filters improve air quality and provide a safer working environment by removing fine dust particles from the exhaust airstream. They are generally used to filter dust not removed by a cyclone, yielding breathable, clean air that can be recirculated back into the work area, where allowed.

Woven fabric filter material yields an extremely high filtration efficiency, and is intermittently reconditioned by the integral shaker mechanism, operated either manually or automatically. Collected dust is deposited into a dust storage container, selected to meet specific application requirements.

Capacity range: 300 – 7000 CFM (dictated by dust)

Common applications: Woodworking, metalworking, plastics, pharmaceuticals, powdered chemicals, and food processing

FH Series Baghouse Collector (Modular Unit)

AGET FILTERKOP shaker-type filter units are designed to improve air quality and provide a safer work environment by removing fine dust particles from high volume exhaust airstreams. Often used after cyclones, FILTERKOP after-filters remove fine dust that passes through the cyclone. This process yields clean environmentally safe air which can be recirculated back into the work area, where allowed.

Woven fabric filter material provides an extremely high filtration efficiency, and is intermittently reconditioned by the motorized filter shaker mechanism. FILTERKOP after-filters are commonly used in situations where high air volumes and heavy dust loads exist. The modular design allows for multiple assemblies to be combined to maximize filtration in high volume industrial operations.

Capacity range: 1500 – 30000 CFM (dictated by dust)

Common applications: Woodworking, metalworking, plastics, pharmaceuticals, powdered chemicals, and food processing
